Hi, I had my delivery 2 months ago. I get itching after taking my bath daily. How can I recover from this? What is the treatment? I do not have thyroid. I am breastfeeding. Kindly suggest. Thank you.

Postpartum itching after bath may be due to dry skin, hormonal changes, or soap sensitivity. Use hypoallergenic soap and moisturize immediately after bath. Avoid hot water. Since thyroid is ruled out, other allergies should be considered. If itching persists, you should take an IgE allergy panel test to check for underlying allergens.

I am a 53 year old woman suffering from allergic rhinitis. I would like to know the cost of a skin prick test for both airborne and food allergens. Additionally, if I am found to be allergic to something like house dust mites, what would be the cost of allergy vaccination (immunotherapy)? For your reference, my recent test results are: TLC: 9100/cumm, Neutrophils: 50percent, Lymphocytes: 40percent, Eosinophils: 6percent, Monocytes: 4percent, Basophils: 0percent, Total IgE: 231.2 IU/ml, hsCRP: 4.6 mg/L, Vitamin D: 7.65 ng/ml.
