Hi, I have been suffering from fever for the past 5 days. My recent blood test shows a WBC count of 3.52 and platelet count of 99. What should I do? Please advise.

Fever with low WBC (3.5) and low platelets (99) may indicate viral infections like dengue. Avoid painkillers except paracetamol, take plenty of fluids, and get adequate rest. Monitor for red spots, bleeding, or worsening weakness. Do a Dengue NS1 Antigen Test, repeat CBC daily, and consult your doctor immediately to track platelets and WBC trends. Go to the hospital if bleeding, breathlessness, or severe weakness occurs.

View allI just received my father blood test report and the results say IGG negative, IGM positive, and NS1 antigen negative. Does that mean he is diagnosed with dengue virus?

Diagnosed with dengue today and already hospitalized. I was admitted on Tuesday evening for a viral infection. Blood reports were done on Monday, Thursday, and today. My platelet count dropped from 1.8 to 0.90, and now it is 0.28. After that, the dengue test came back positive. Please suggest what should be done.

Hi, my platelet count is 85,000. Does this indicate dengue, or could it be a normal viral fever? I have attached my blood test report for reference.
