Hi, I have been taking tuberculosis medication for 8 months. My recent tests show that I no longer have tuberculosis. However, I have been experiencing a low grade fever of 99 to 99.3F for some time, and today it rose to 101F. Could you please explain the possible causes of this persistent fever and why it might be happening?

Mild fevers post TB can occur due to residual inflammation or another infection. A 101F fever after stopping meds should be evaluated repeat sputum and imaging advised.

I have been suffering from fever for the past month and there is a tumour-like swelling around my neck area. A doctor advised me to go for a USG-guided biopsy. In my report, it says features are suggestive of granulomatous lymphadenitis. No evidence of malignancy is noticed. What does it mean?

I was diagnosed with a UTI, along with vaginal itching and discharge. My urine report continued to show the presence of pus cells. Recently, I have also been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. My Mantoux test result is 10 by 15 mm, and my chest Xray is normal. Could this mean I am suffering from tuberculosis?

My father has been suffering from fever since 26 February. Medication was started, which I mentioned above, but there is no relief. Then I consulted a pulmonary doctor who told me it is an infection after seeing the X ray. One more thing, the blood test report is normal except hemoglobin, which is 11. No typhoid or malaria was diagnosed. What should I do? Kindly guide me.
