Hi, I just received my blood report, and it shows that I am in the prediabetic range, with an HbA1c level of 6. I would like to consult on what steps I should take to manage this condition.

An HbA1c of 6 indicates prediabetes. You can reverse this with lifestyle changes like a low carb diet, 30 minutes daily walk, low sugar intake, timely and small meals and weight control. No medication needed at this point. Repeat HbA1c after 6 months
Dr. Dhankecha Suggests...
Take a HbA1c Test (Hemoglobin A1c) Test or Take a Fasting & PP Blood Sugar with Smart Report Test

My mother is 53 years old and has diabetes. Her recent blood report shows, serum creatinine is 1.0 mg/dL, blood urea is 33 mg/dL, cholesterol is 144 mg/dL, fasting blood sugar is 104 mg/dL, and post meal blood sugar is 177 mg/dL. Are these results concerning, and what should be the next steps for her care?
