Hi, it has been two months since I gave birth to a baby girl. During my pregnancy, I had thyroid issues. One month after delivery, I took a thyroid test, and the result was normal, so I stopped taking the tablets. I want to know whether I need to continue the tablets or take the thyroid test again to confirm if it is still normal. Is it also necessary to test my baby thyroid? I am attaching my thyroid result.

Thyroid levels can fluctuate after delivery, especially if you had pregnancy related thyroid issues. Even if one test was normal, its best to recheck thyroid (TSH, T3, T4) after stopping medication. Do not stop thyroid medicine permanently without doctor guidance. In most cases, thyroid testing in the baby is not needed unless advised.

My father had a heart attack in April and underwent angioplasty, during which one stent was placed. At the time of discharge, his ejection fraction was 30 percent. After three months, his blood test results showed the following, TSH is 9.23, Iron is 52.9, Uric Acid is 9.09, HDL (Direct) is 37, Triglycerides is 204, VLDL is 40.8, Serum Albumin/Globulin Ratio is 2.12, and Serum Globulin is 2.19. The report also mentioned urobilinogen, but the value was not provided.

My mom has had a lump in her neck for the past 20 years. She does not have any problems with the lump. We showed it to 2 to 3 doctors before, but they said there was nothing to worry about. Yesterday we went to an ENT specialist, and he said that her thyroid is swollen. He prescribed several tests. I am attaching the reports. Please tell me what they mean?
