I have thyroid problems and got a test report showing TSH 12.5. I am taking medicine, but it is still increased. What should I do?

High TSH (DTH likely TSH) indicates underactive thyroid. Medication dose may need titration. Please take a TSH + Free T4 immediately.
Dr. Ezhilarasan Suggests...
Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test or Take a Free (FT4) Test Test

View allI took a thyroid test due to hair loss. My blood report shows normal T3 (73 ng) and T4 (9 microgram) levels, but TSH is slightly elevated at 7.46 microIU. Is this normal? Could this be the cause of my hair loss? Do I need any medication to control the TSH level? Please suggest.
