A platelet count of 126,000 is a little below normal, but if there are no signs of infection, bleeding, or illness, its usually not urgent. Sometimes, this can happen after a mild viral illness or due to vitamin deficiency. Its a good idea to repeat the CBC after 1 to 2 weeks, and if it stays low, more tests can be done to find the cause.

Please can someone confirm if this indicates cancer? Recently, I had a very low platelet count of 108,000. I started experiencing bruising on my body and bleeding from gums.
