Hi, my son has been suffering from ITP with low platelet count for the last four years. He is currently 13 years old. He was given MABTAS in 2015, which improved his platelet count, but the problem has resurfaced one month ago?

Your sons low platelets returning after years suggests recurrence of ITP. Though Mabtas helped before, further evaluation is needed now. A hematologist can reassess his condition, monitor platelet levels, and decide on further treatment or observation based on severity.

I received my CBC report today, and my blood platelets have increased from 100,000 to 135,000 in three days. I do not have fever, and I am eating and drinking well. The only issue is that I feel chills. Could this chill be due to low platelets? Despite this, I am performing 3 rounds of push ups (15 each) with 30 second rest. Please advise if the chills are related to platelet count.
