Hi, please suggest based on the below symptoms and test report. A 64 year old female has creatinine 1.19, phosphorus 4.41, potassium 5.40, and chloride 110.00, all high. HbA1c is 6.2 and fasting sugar is 131, which is high. TSH is 2.88 and controlled. ESR is 16 and C reactive protein is 3.82. Historically, she is taking Telvas 40 for high blood pressure and Eltroxine 100 mg for thyroid, which is controlled in the current report. She was previously diagnosed with high ESR around 90 and high C reactive protein, but this time both are controlled. Please suggest what action should be taken?

Slightly high creatinine, potassium, and phosphorus suggest early kidney stress. Continue BP, thyroid meds, and monitor kidney function regularly. Limit salt, potassium rich foods, and get a nephrologist review.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test or Take a HbA1c Test (Hemoglobin A1c) Test
