Hi Sir or Mam, today I got a normal body medical checkup. I have seen my report and my SGPT is above the normal range. Please provide advice for my health.

Mild SGPT elevation may be due to fatty liver or recent medication. Repeat test after 2 t o3 weeks and maintain a healthy diet.

Dr. Bhanu Suggests...

I have been suffering from high fever for 1 week and recently got my tests done. My SGOT is 118 and SGPT is 217. I had been consuming alcohol continuously for a week, including the day before the test. Additionally, my lymphocyte percentage is 47percent, while all other test results are normal. Should I be concerned about these results?

Hello, I need an urgent consultation for my mother who is suffering from acute stomach pain. She is currently on sedatives prescribed by an emergency doctor at a nearby hospital. I have attached reports showing that she is suffering from pancreatitis, gallbladder inflammation, and liver issues. The doctor has advised admitting her as soon as possible. Since it is Diwali season, I am concerned about whether she will receive proper care in the hospital. I am considering admitting her tomorrow. Please advise on the severity of her condition and whether it is safe to wait until tomorrow? Her LFT report shows SGPT 169, SGOT 186, alkaline phosphatase 150, and GGT 117, all significantly above normal range. I am looking forward to your suggestion. Thank you.
