Is Hijama (wet cupping therapy) effective for treating hair loss, and can it actually restore lost hair? There are many videos on YouTube showing scalp Hijama and claiming hair regrowth, are these results reliable?

Hijama (wet cupping) may improve scalp blood circulation, but there is limited scientific evidence supporting it for hair regrowth. It cannot reverse genetic or hormonal hair loss (e.g. androgenic alopecia). Mild benefit may be seen in stress induced shedding. Combine with proven treatments like minoxidil and check nutritional deficiencies.

View allI have been experiencing hair fall for the past five months, and the regrowth of hair has comparatively smaller diameter than before. I consulted a dermatologist and have been on medication for the last one month. My test reports show ferritin 64, vitamin D 28, and thyroid 1.7. I have not seen any improvement. Hair thinning continues, and I also have dandruff. The medicines I am using are Phytoral, Dvion 60X, Biotin, Keraglow shampoo, and Keraglow lotion.

How can I find out the exact reason for hair loss? I have tried many treatments, but nothing works. My thyroid test is normal in the last report, but still there is no improvement in hair loss. The condition is getting worse day by day. I also have a dandruff problem.

I am a 23 year old male experiencing excessive hair loss for the past year. Initially, I thought it might be due to a drastic change in my diet after moving away from my hometown for work, where I was not eating very healthily. However, over time I noticed that my hair loss became more severe, my hair density reduced significantly, and at times, my scalp became visible. Concerned about this, I consulted a trichologist a month ago. After examining me, she initially suspected male pattern baldness and asked if I had a family history of baldness, which I do not. She then recommended tests including CBC, TSH, and Ferritin.
