How can I know the type of my kidney stone?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Your doctor will tell you the type of kidney stone you have by assessing your blood and urine sample test report. Additionally, recommend you get an ultrasound done to confirm the type.

My dad is 85 years old. He has been complaining that after passing urine, he does not feel comfortable and shivers afterward. His report shows serum creatinine 1.2 mg/dl. His kidneys are normal, and the bladder has a 3.3 cm faceted mobile stone. Premicturition volume is 194 cc, and postmicturition volume is nil. His prostate is 37 gm. Kindly advise? Thank you.
