View allI'm a bit worried because I've been dealing with a stuffy nose, heavy head, and mild fever between 99.4 to 100.4 for the past couple of days. I think it started after being around smoking at a lounge party. Tonight, I took a crocin to help with the fever and a Montek LC for the stuffy nose and allergyIve used these before. Im also on hypertension meds, specifically Concord in the morning and Stamlo at night. Could you let me know if it's okay to mix Montek LC with these hypertension medications?
It is generally safe to take Montek LC (Montelukast + Levocetirizine) for stuffy nose and allergy symptoms along with your hypertension medications. However, it is always recommended to consult with your healthcare provider or pharmacist before adding any new medication to your existing regimen, especially if you have any concerns about potential interactions. In this case, since you have taken Montek LC in the past and are currently on Concord 2.5mg in the morning and Stamlo 5mg at night for hypertension, there are no known major interactions between Montek LC and your hypertension medications. Just ensure to follow the recommended dosages for each medication. If you experience any unusual symptoms or side effects after taking Montek LC alongside your hypertension medications, please consult your healthcare provider for further evaluation and guidance.

I've had a fever since early this morning, and it's coming down a bit. But my heart rate is staying pretty high, around 110-130 BPM. Is this usual when you have a fever, or should I be more worried about this heart rate change? I'm feeling really anxious about it. My apple watch even gave me a high heart rate alert while I was resting this evening. What should I do?
Normal, if still heart rate persists more than 100 beats per minute after fever subsides u may require an ecg and cardiac markers .
