How can I recover from the side effects of using skin shine cream in just 3 days? The area around my mouth has started to turn black. Can you give me some quick advice that could help in this short time?

  1. Understanding the Side Effects

    • Blackening around the mouth can occur due to mometasone (a steroid) and hydroquinone in the cream.
  2. Immediate Steps to Take

    • Stop using the cream immediately.
    • Avoid other harsh skincare products.
  3. Gentle Skin Care Routine

    • Use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser with lukewarm water.
    • Apply a gentle moisturizer.
  4. Sun Protection

    • Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher).
    • Wear a hat or avoid direct sun exposure.
  5. Quick Soothing Measures

    • Use cold compresses to reduce inflammation.
    • Avoid scratching or rubbing the area.
  6. When to Seek Medical Help

    • Consult a dermatologist if symptoms worsen or do not improve.
  7. Realistic Expectations

    • Significant improvement in pigmentation takes longer than 3 days, but these steps can help reduce irritation.

I've had this lump for about a year now. It kind of popped up out of nowhere, and at first, it didn't hurt at all, so I just thought it might be a wart or something and ignored it. But lately, I've been noticing some pain when I press around the area. I spend a lot of time at my desk for work, and I'm wondering if it might be related to that. It's not a boil; it feels more like some kind of skin growth. Could it be connected to sitting for long periods, or should I be worried about something else?

It is important to have this lump evaluated by a healthcare professional to determine the exact cause. The sudden development of a painless lump that has now become painful could indicate various possibilities, including an abscess, cyst, lipoma, or even a more serious condition like a tumor. It is unlikely to be directly related to your desk job unless there is a specific injury or pressure point causing the issue.

I'm using Eloson HT cream for quite a while, and everything seemed fine. But whenever I stop using it for about 23 days, my skin gets darker. Can you suggest what I should do about this? Also, are there any other creams I could use to make my skin look a bit fairer? Not looking for a huge change, just a little brighter.

Please stop using elosone ht cream as it contains strong steroids which will cause serious side effects. Steroid induced pimples, photosensitivity that is sun sensitivity, rosacea that is red face, atrophy that is skin thinning, stretch marks, pigmentation, dryness, severe itching and hair growth on the face etc to name a few side effects. Reports of skin cancer are also there. Please don't use any such Steroid containing fairness creams. You will require treatment to slowly put you off this cream by using some substitute as the skin becomes addicted to the steroid. Hence you are facing such a problem
