I'm thinking about trying Glutone tablets for skin whitening, and it's my first time with them. I'm a bit curious if they're really effective and safe to take without a doctor's prescription. Also, I'm already using Glutathione soap by Health Vit and haven't noticed any side effects so far. What do you think?

Usually there are no side effects with this, But you should visit a Dermatologist for evaluation of your problem and appropriate treatment.

In my younger days, I tried some homeopathic remedies, but I haven't been on any treatment lately. Is there anything you'd suggest I look into? Could it be a sign of something more serious?

That needs evaluation, visit Dermatologist for the same and appropriate management
