Tore my ACL in November and decided against surgery for now Ive been using a brace and doing bodyweight exercises plus stationary bike workouts Recently started running on the treadmill pain-free but now getting bad aching pain in my upper calf on the same leg Could this be related to the ACL injury or just a coincidence
Also repeat MRI Scan is advised to the patient to find out extent of the injury. An orthopedician opinion is advised. Analgesics are advised for the pain relief, tab aceclofenac twice daily for about 5 days .

My dad is 66 and surgeons are recommending surgery but say there's no guarantee of success. He's also having pain in both arms now. What should we do next? Is surgery the best option or are there other treatments we can explore?
Get a second opinion and explore conservative options like pain management or physiotherapy before deciding on surgery.
