Tore my ACL in November and decided against surgery for now Ive been using a brace and doing bodyweight exercises plus stationary bike workouts Recently started running on the treadmill pain-free but now getting bad aching pain in my upper calf on the same leg Could this be related to the ACL injury or just a coincidence

View allI've had a fully torn ACL and grade 3 meniscus tear since May 6th. My orthopedic doctor recommended surgery but I've been trying physiotherapy instead - my leg has improved but still feels weak. Is surgery the only option at this point or could continued physio help me recover fully?
Severe ACL and meniscus tears often need surgery for full recovery. Physiotherapy may improve strength but rarely restores full stability.

Looking for a male attendant nurse for my 49-year-old uncle who's having hip bone surgery soon. He won't be able to walk and might need bed rest for a few months. We're in Uttarahalli, Bangalore any recommendations on where to find reliable care or what to look for in a good attendant nurse for post-surgery recovery
Apollo is best for it.

My doctor recommended surgery and putting plates for my injury but I'm wondering if it can heal with just a plaster instead. Is surgery really necessary or are there other options? I'm a bit worried about going under the knife
Whether your injury can heal with just a plaster or requires surgery and plates depends on the severity, location, and type of fracture. Surgery may be necessary for certain fractures, but not all fractures require surgery. Plaster casts can be effective for some fractures, but others may require more invasive treatments like surgery and plates.
