We got some test results back, and one of them says "sputum AFB stain positive" with "acid-fast bacilli seen," while the other test indicates "no pathogenic organisms were isolated after 18-24 hours of incubation." I'm 21 and have muscular dystrophy. On November 21st, I ended up without oxygen and now it's been 41 days since I've had a tracheostomy. I can breathe without a ventilator at this point. How long before they can take out my tracheostomy?
