I accidentally swallowed a whole hard sugar candy that was a cough drop. Should I be worried about this or see a doctor?

I'm struggling with allergies and sinus issues that have been bothering me for a long time. Every morning I wake up with pain below my eyes and eyebrows. If I take steam, the pain reduces for a bit, but it comes back. On top of that, my right ear has been blocked for over eight months. Just when it feels like it's getting better, I get hit with cold allergies and it's blocked again. It's really frustrating because I can't hear people properly. What do you think I should do?

Hey, I've been having this weird jaw pain right at the hinge, and I think it's a bit swollen, but only on the left side. I just had some dental work done on that side because of a cavity, and now it hurts to open my mouth wide. This all started last night, but for about five days before that, I'd wake up with a sore throat, a runny nose, and mucus. Strangely, during the day, I feel fine, but at night it all comes back until morning. There's also this occasional ringing noise in my left ear, like a beep, and it's around 814kHz or something. It's more obvious when I cover or muffle my ear. Any idea what's going on?

I've noticed that my uvula seems to be slightly off-center, leaning a tiny bit to the right when I say "aah." I don't really have any other symptoms, but I'm curious if this slight deviation is considered normal. Should I be worried about it?

Uvula asymmetry can be a normal finding in some individuals. As long as you do not have any other symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, sore throat, or snoring, it is likely nothing to be concerned about. Just keep an eye on it for any changes.
