I am 23 years old and suffering from hypothyroidism. I often feel cold at normal temperatures, feel lazy, have thinning hair, and tend to forget things. I understand these are symptoms caused by low thyroid hormone production. My report shows a TSH of 456, whereas the normal range should be around 3 to 6. I have consulted a doctor and am taking prescribed medication. My concerns are: Can hypothyroidism be completely cured? Will my hair and cognitive function (thinking/memory) return to normal once it is treated?

Hypothyroidism is manageable, not fully curable. With correct meds, symptoms like memory and hair can improve. Regular monitoring needed.
