I am a 29 year old female, married for five years. I have had an MTP and two abortions. My TSH was normal until now, but my latest blood report shows an increased TSH of 7.83. I recently lost 22 kg through a healthy diet and exercises under the guidance of a dietician.

A TSH of 7.83 indicates hypothyroidism. Weight loss and hormonal changes may trigger thyroid shifts. Since you have a reproductive history and are planning pregnancy, it is important to bring TSH to less than 2.5. Please consult your doctor to start or adjust thyroxine dose.
