I am 6 months pregnant and my urine microscopic examination shows pus cells 5 to 7 and epithelial cells 7 to 10. My doctor has suggested taking Nitrofurantoin SR 100 twice daily for 7 days. My query is whether it is safe to take during pregnancy and should I take it or not.

Nitrofurantoin is generally considered safe during pregnancy. It helps clear urinary infections. Please complete the full 7 day course unless doctor advises otherwise. Get done urine culture and sensitivity with routine done.

View allI had anal sex for the first time with my partner, and since we were inexperienced, the condom tore. We were worried about the possibility of sperm reaching the vaginal area. This happened two days after my period ended (on Monday), and I took Unwanted 72 within two hours. Now, after seven days (on Sunday), I experienced some light bleeding. I am considering visiting a doctor for a checkup. Will the doctor be able to find out if I took the pill through any test for irregular bleeding? Can I be assured that there is no chance of pregnancy?

Good morning. My partner had sex on 2nd June and got her period on 12th June. Now she is experiencing backache, headache, dizziness, and weakness. Could these be symptoms of pregnancy, even though she had her period on 12th June? Is it possible to have bleeding during pregnancy? Should we do a home pregnancy test?

Is it possible to get pregnant if we had intercourse on the 8th day of my period during a 28 day cycle? I am now 5 days late, and I took a urine pregnancy test when I was 2 days late, which was negative. What are the possibilities of pregnancy at this stage? I am also experiencing PMS like symptoms and white, creamy, non sticky vaginal discharge.
