I am experiencing dryness and tingling sensations in my palms and feet, which sometimes itch. I also feel tingling in my hands while sleeping and notice some liquid dripping from my fingers. My nerve conduction test report came back normal, but I have vitamin D deficiency. Please suggest what additional tests I should undergo to identify the exact cause of these symptoms, along with any treatment recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Could be mild neuropathy or vitamin deficiency related. Supplement Vitamin D. Also check B12, blood sugar, and calcium.

View allIs there any relationship between vitamin B12 and liver? I have B12 deficiency even though I am non vegetarian (homocysteine is normal). My liver report shows indirect bilirubin 1.19, total bilirubin 1.39, and GGT 67, which are beyond the normal range. Is there any connection between the B12 deficiency and liver report? Last year I had acidity issues and the doctor prescribed Pantocid and Refagut 400 for 30 days. I also have excess vitamin K in my test report. I am non alcoholic.

My wife, age 34, underwent pituitary tumor surgery 3 years ago. Her recent blood report shows Vitamin B12 is 927 pg/mL, hemoglobin is 10 g/dL, and PCV is 31 percent. She has been experiencing heavy gastric issues that do not subside even with medications like PPIs. Additionally, she has an enlarging fibroid. Her weight is 67 kg and blood pressure is 90/70 mmHg. Could you please advise how to reduce the heavy gas and manage her gastric discomfort effectively?
