I am having jaundice. Total bilirubin is 1.4, direct bilirubin is 0.4, and indirect bilirubin is 1. Is this normal?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Your total bilirubin (1.4) is slightly above normal may be mild jaundice. Direct (0.4) and indirect (1.0) values are not very high. This could be due to mild liver stress, dehydration, or recent illness. Stay hydrated, avoid oily food, and rest well. Repeat LFT if symptoms continue
