I am a male 30 years old. I got my vitamin D test report and it was 6.25. I am feeling feverish, chills, and tiredness. Is this because of low vitamin D deficiency? Which specialist doctor should I consult? Can I know the symptoms of vitamin D deficiency because I am feeling other diseases also?

Yes, severe Vitamin D deficiency. Can cause fatigue, muscle pain, low immunity. See general physician or endocrinologist. High dose D3 weekly for 6 to 8 weeks is standard. Perform Vitamin D test post taking medicines and get calcium levels checked.

I am a working woman living alone in Mumbai with rotational shifts (morning, day, and night), so I do not have a consistent routine. Recently, I visited my hometown for almost a month. I saw a general physician who did a full body check-up and tests. My reports are mostly normal, except for Vitamin D deficiency and a small functional cyst in my right ovary. My doctor said this cyst is common in women and usually resolves after 2 to 3 menstrual cycles. I have not had regular periods for the past 7 months. Once, my cycle was delayed by 21 days, but normally the interval is 6 days or longer. I do not have facial hair, but after using a Flawless trimmer for women once, I developed cystic acne, especially around the jawline and smile lines. I also experience mild depression, stress, anxiety, and fatigue. Could you please advise what could be causing these issues, and what steps I should take next?

Hello Doctor. I have done a full body checkup including blood test, urine test, LFT, and vitamin D. I found my vitamin D level very low at 4.5 ng/ml. Should I go for further tests, or can you suggest some supplements? I have attached my report. One reason for low vitamin D is lack of sunlight exposure, which I will take care of now. Please suggest.
