I am suffering from runny nose and continuous sneezing for the past one and a half years. I consulted an ENT doctor, and he gave me Monticope tablets, which I took for a year. If I stop taking the tablets, the symptoms come back. I do not know what to do to stop this. I do not know how long I have to continue the medication. I went to another doctor, a pulmonary specialist, who gave me Odimont and advised a complete blood test. I found out I have vitamin D3 deficiency. He gave me vitamin D shots for one month and a nasal spray. He stopped the tablets from today, and I do not know whether this treatment will work. Please give me a suggestion?

Chronic allergic rhinitis could be the cause of your symptoms. Vitamin D deficiency may worsen inflammation. Continue nasal spray as advised and avoid allergens. Do the required tests to monitor Vitamin D levels and allergy triggers.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a TOTAL IGE Test or Take a ALLERGY COMPREHENSIVE PANEL Test

View allSir, I am suffering from redness and itching in the upper throat and possibly the upper food pipe for the last 6 months. I have taken many treatments but this problem is not cured. The STRAP TEST report as advised by the doctor found non pathogenic organisms grown on culture media and he said there is nothing abnormal, but this problem is recurring every 1 to 2 months. Please suggest what type of problem this is and which department I should consult. Is it Crohns disease?
