I am suffering from urinating problems for the past 4 to 5 months. I need to pass urine 8 to 10 times at night. I pass more urine while sitting than standing. I went to the hospital and my lab reports and USG are normal. The doctor advised me to take Tab. Cystone but it has not cured my problem. Please advise me as I am suffering from a big problem?

You may be experiencing nocturia due to bladder irritation, overactive bladder, or undiagnosed diabetes. Since USG and urine tests were normal but symptoms persist, further tests are needed. Cystone may not help in all urinary conditions. Also check for any neurological or prostate related causes if male. Consult a urologist for detailed evaluation.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a HbA1c Test (Hemoglobin A1c) Test or Take a URINE ROUTINE + CULTURE SENSITIVITY Test

View allI recently underwent urine analysis and urine culture. The report mentions only commensals grown. Could you please explain what this means? Is my report considered normal? Additionally, I have a wound at the meatus and would like to know if this is related or something I should be concerned about.

My wife is currently pregnant. One month ago, she experienced abdominal pain, and a scan confirmed a urinary tract infection, which resolved within 3 to 4 days with medication. Since then, we have not had sexual intercourse. Can we now have sex normally during her pregnancy? For context, she is eating normally, does not have vomiting, her hemoglobin is 12, blood pressure is normal, and her doctor has confirmed everything is fine. She is following a healthy diet with fruits, vegetables, eggs, and leafy greens, and currently has no other issues. I would like a detailed explanation regarding safety and precautions.

My diabetes is currently under control, but I have been advised to consult a nephrologist due to an infection noted in my reports.
