I came across something called a trichilemmal cyst and I'm not sure if it's the same thing as a hair follicle cyst or a hair pillar cyst. Could you explain the differences? Also, how much would it cost to get a trichilemmal cyst removed?

View allMy ward has been having some skin rashes and itchiness all over his body for the past 15 days, and its really starting to worry me. The rash is consistently noticeable, and he feels a bit uncomfortable because of it. Can you provide some insight into what might be causing this and what steps we should take?
For your ward's persistent skin rashes and itchiness lasting 15 days, it's essential to consult a dermatologist to determine the underlying cause, which could be allergic reactions, eczema, dermatitis, or other conditions; in the meantime, encourage your ward to avoid scratching, apply cool compresses, and use over-the-counter anti-itch creams or oral antihistamines to alleviate discomfort.

I've been using BETNOVATE CREAM regularly for my skin, mostly for fairness and acne, and I'm starting to wonder about the long-term effects. My family doctor mentioned that I shouldn't use it so often. What are the potential side effects of continuing its use? Also, are there safer alternatives that I could consider?
Long-term use of Betnovate cream, a strong steroid, can cause skin thinning, increased acne, pigmentation changes, and may worsen skin issues over time. It's best to stop regular use and consult a dermatologist for safer options, like non-steroid creams, retinoids, or other acne treatments suited to your skin.

I'm struggling with a serious sun tan that's really been a nightmare for me. My skin darkens very quickly whenever I'm out in the sun, and its gotten to the point where there are obvious lines between the areas that are sun-exposed and those that arent. Could you suggest a remedy for this? Also, how can I reverse the tanning effect and basically detan my skin?
SPF 30 can be used.
