I consulted a urologist for premature ejaculation. Two years ago, I underwent a vasectomy. After that, the doctor advised me to get a semen analysis once a year. The urologist reviewed my recent report and mentioned that there is a semen infection and prescribed medicines. Is semen infection a serious condition?

Semen infection is usually not serious and clears with antibiotics. The report may mention elevated pus cells or bacteria. Regular follow ups help monitor improvement.
