I found some abscesses in my ultrasound scan and I'm currently breastfeeding my baby at 30 years old. Is it safe for me to have surgery to treat them or could it affect my milk supply or my baby?

I had a deep wound about 4 inches long and 3 inches deep after my pilonidal sinus removal. It's been 20 days and the wound is still open my doctor suggested flap surgery but I'm hesitant to go under the knife again. If the wound heals on its own over time, could there be any long-term issues compared to getting stitches or surgery? I'm worried about complications later in life if it heals naturally
