View allI have a pilonidal sinus and need to get it surgically removed. Are there any surgeons in Mumbai who specialize in cleft lift surgery for pilonidal cysts? I really don't want to go for closed or open wound surgery only cleft lift. Any recommendations would help since I need to figure this out soon.

I've had this small lump on my stomach for years now and I'm not sure what to do about it. Should I see a skin specialist or just go to my general physician first? Could it be something that needs surgery or is there another way to remove it? It doesn't hurt but I'm starting to get concerned since it's been there so long.
sx opinion.

I had kshar sutra surgery for a pilonidal cyst back in August and the wound has healed but sometimes it gets painful and swollen. Is there any topical ointment that can help reduce the swelling?
Topical steroid ointments (like mometasone) may reduce swelling post-Kshar Sutra surgery;consult your surgeon before applying to the tract.
