I'm really concerned about my recovery after having perianal abscess surgery on November 30th. It's been 8 days now, and I'm still seeing pus discharge; plus, there's a bit of pain after I have a bowel movement. I've been using Livoluk as a stool softener and doing sitz baths three times a day to help. Do you have any idea how much longer I might need to continue the wound dressing and how long it'll take for everything to fully heal up? I'm in the IT field and eager to know when I might be able to return to work. Any advice would be great.
Peri anal abscess is one among many stubborn cases it is known for its recurrence,follow regular dressing without fail,consume more protien for better healing,have patience it takes time to heal
