I've been diagnosed with mild reducible bilateral inguinal hernia but sometimes the pain gets really bad on both sides. Are there any ayurvedic medicines that could help manage this and possibly avoid surgery?

My husband has swollen piles and the doctor recommended surgery but he also has thyroid issues and high CRP levels. Could these affect the surgery? Also, would Ayurvedic treatment be better than surgery for his condition?

I have an 11 mm supraumbilical hernia and I'm not sure whether to go for laparoscopic or open surgery based on the defect size. What would you recommend for my case?
