I'm 8 weeks pregnant and having right side abdominal pain the doctor found it's my appendix and recommends surgery. Is it safe to have appendix surgery during pregnancy? What are the risks for me and the baby?

My mom is 61 years old and weighs 54 kg she just got diagnosed with an umbilical hernia based on her USG report. Right now she isn't feeling any pain, but I'm worried about whether she needs surgery. If surgery is necessary, would laparoscopic or open surgery be better for her

I'm getting ready for my right inguinal hernia surgery soon but I'm not sure if I should shave my groin area before the procedure. Also, I've been having pain all around that area and in my testicles what kind of ultrasound would be best to check that out?
