I'm 8 weeks pregnant and having right side abdominal pain the doctor found it's my appendix and recommends surgery. Is it safe to have appendix surgery during pregnancy? What are the risks for me and the baby?

I've had an umbilical pilonidal sinus for the past two years and it's been really bothering me is surgery the only option left or are there other treatments I could try first

I've been diagnosed with gallstones and my USG report shows them clearly. What symptoms should I watch out for that might mean I need to get my gallbladder removed? Sometimes I get this sharp pain under my ribs after eating fatty foods but it goes away - is that a sign surgery might be necessary?
