I've been diagnosed with gallstones and my USG report shows them clearly. What symptoms should I watch out for that might mean I need to get my gallbladder removed? Sometimes I get this sharp pain under my ribs after eating fatty foods but it goes away - is that a sign surgery might be necessary?

View allFound a 15mm gallstone on ultrasound and my GP recommended surgery what exactly does this procedure involve and are there other options I should consider before going under the knife
Gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy) is the common surgery for this. It’s minimally invasive and safe. If asymptomatic or mild, you may try dietary changes or medications, but surgery is usually advised for symptomatic stones.

I've had a popped out navel about one inch wide for the last 5 years but the past 6 months it's been painful. For the last two weeks, I can only eat small amounts of food if I eat more, the pain around my navel gets worse and I feel like vomiting. Is this something that needs surgery right away or can I wait until next year? Also, how much would the surgery cost?
Given the pain, inability to eat, vomiting, and the fact that the hernia is no longer reducible, urgent surgery is recommended to prevent complications like strangulation of the intestine. Waiting could lead to severe consequences, including the need for emergency surgery, which is often more expensive and risky. Surgery cost can vary widely depending on several factors, so it's best to discuss this with your doctor and the surgical team

I've had three hernia surgeries already and now I feel like it's coming back again. How do I push it back safely? I'm really confused and worried about what to do next.
It's understandable that you're concerned about a potential hernia recurrence after multiple surgeries. Do not attempt to push it back on your own. This could be dangerous and potentially cause serious complications. You should seek immediate medical attention to confirm the diagnosis and discuss appropriate treatment options
