Fistulectomy typically requires 4 to 6 weeks for complete healing, with most feeling better within a week. Expect some mild pain, swelling, and discomfort. To speed up recovery, follow your surgeon's instructions, manage pain, prioritize rest, and avoid strenuous activities

The doctor thinks my body is rejecting the mesh and wants to do another surgery to take it out. Is there any other option besides a second surgery and mesh removal? And if they do take out the mesh, am I at risk of getting another inguinal hernia? Just looking for some advice on what to do next. Any suggestions?
