I got bit on my face by a Nairobi fly and I've tried different ointments, but it seems to be spreading instead of healing. I'm using Colgate now because it's helped others, but I'm really worried about this spreading further. Can you help me figure out what to do?

- Stop using Colgate: While it may have worked for others, using toothpaste on skin can be irritating and dry out the skin, making the situation worse.
- Clean the area: Wash the affected area with mild soap and lukewarm water to remove any bacteria or debris.
- Apply a topical antibiotic ointment: Use a topical antibiotic ointment, such as Neosporin or Bacitracin, to help prevent infection and promote healing.
- Use a hydrocortisone cream: Apply a hydrocortisone cream to reduce inflammation and itching.
- Avoid scratching: Scratching can lead to further irritation, infection, and scarring.
If the symptoms persist, worsen, seek medical attention

View allMy hair has been falling out for about six years now, and I'm only 29. I began using Tugain 10 solution a year ago, but sometimes I forget to apply it regularly. It's been a whole year, but my hair is still falling out every day. I really want to find a way to stop this hair loss and hopefully grow new hair. What would you suggest I do?

I've been dealing with dark skin around my underarms and bikini area for a while now, and I've tried so many creams but they haven't helped. I'm really hoping there's something else I can do to lighten these areas. Any advice would be great!
For dark skin on underarms and bikini areas, consider consulting a dermatologist for personalized advice; in the meantime, try these evidence-based remedies: kojic acid or licorice extract creams, turmeric paste, lemon juice with sugar, or cucumber and aloe vera gel, and maintain good hygiene, avoid harsh hair removal methods, and wear loose, breathable clothing to reduce friction and irritation.

I'm dealing with some issues and I'm really worried about it. Recently, there's been dryness, a little burning, and itching on my penis. I've tried using Vaseline to keep it moisturized, and while the dryness has improved, the itching and some burning still persist. To give you some context, I'm in a sexual relationship with my girlfriend and we usually use protection, but we did have unprotected sex last month. Shortly after, the skin on my penis turned red and burned for a day, then went back to normal. Now, almost a month later, these symptoms showed up. I'm concerned if this could be an STD. What steps should I take to address this? Could this be something serious?
