How can I improve my eardrum condition after surgery? I'm worried about the recovery process and what steps I should take to make sure it heals properly. Are there specific things I should avoid or any treatments that could help speed up the healing?

Keep your ear dry and avoid swimming, showering, and submerging your head in water for at least two weeks after your procedure. Use ear drops or ointment as directed by your doctor. Avoid activities that may cause trauma to your ears, such as playing flying in airplane, loud music, swimming without cap etc.

I've been dealing with a dry cough for over a month now, and it never seemed to completely go away. Now it's back with that annoying metallic taste in my mouth, and I even had a fever yesterday. I've been trying some home remedies like gargling and taking honey with ginger, thinking it's just a regular throat infection. I'm curious if there's something more going on or if there's anything else I should be doing to get better?

That could be recurrent or allergic pharyngitis, identify the cause and try to avoid it, no need to worry its common to get reinfected at an interval of one month, consume good food for better immunity.

I'm really worried about my friend's ear pain. She's been dealing with it for over a year, and every time we consulted a doctor, they just recommended cleaning. But last week, she was out of town and in a lot of pain, so she saw another doctor who found a small hole in her eardrum and suggested surgery. Im wondering if surgery is really necessary or if there are other options. Could you give some advice on this situation?
