I'm having this sharp, sticking pain in my right ear that comes every 15 minutes or so, but it's really brief, maybe 2 or 3 seconds each time. It almost feels like something is touching my eardrum for a quick moment and then it stops. This has been going on for a week now. A few days ago, I had a mild fever and cold, but otherwise, I'm feeling better now. The pain isn't that severe, but Im worried if this could be the start of something more serious. What do you think this could be?

I got a CT scan of my face, and it showed something about polypoidal mucosal thickening in my left maxillary sinus, with the left maxillary ostia being blocked. This has been a recurring problem, and it's really starting to affect me. Could you provide some advice or solutions on what might be going on and how I can find some relief?
