My son's recent x-ray report shows he has severe adenoid hypertrophy, and the doctor suggested surgery. I'm really worried and wondering if there's any treatment option other than surgery. Also, if we do go the surgery route, is it a permanent solution, or is there a possibility that the problem might come back later?

My daughter is 6 years old and she has adenoids. The main issue we're seeing is that she really snores a lot at night.
