I had consulted a skin specialist for pimples on my face. She suggested I go for a blood check and a scan. My report shows TSH level 5.73 and ASM level 5.81. What should I do to reduce my TSH level.

TSH is mildly elevated. For pregnancy planning, aim to bring TSH below 2.5. Your doctor may suggest a low dose of thyroid medicine. ASM is a liver enzyme; mildly raised value can occur with stress, diet, or minor liver inflammation.

Hello doctor. I have hypothyroidism for the last 4 years. Currently, I am on Thyronorm 50. My thyroid profile is normal, and TSH is 2.1. Since June, I have been feeling occasional ectopic beats. I get a funny sensation in my chest followed by a hard beat, which then goes away. Is this due to my thyroid condition? This causes anxiety, which seems to trigger even more ectopic beats. Please help.

I have been taking Thyronorm 12.5 mcg for two months. Due to severe tiredness and sleepy feeling, I repeated TSH and Free T4 tests. TSH is 8.02 (Ref 0.4 to 4.2) and Free T4 is 1.17 (Ref 0.89 to 1.76). Previously, Anti Tg Antibody was high and TPO was normal. I am having tingling in both palms and feet. Fasting blood sugar is 82. I am taking Concor 5 mg for hypertension. Do I require a dose revision or further consultation?
