My T3 is 0.98 and T4 is 6.56, which I believe are in the normal range. My TSH is 8.012, which is high. What do you suggest? Do I have thyroid disease?

T3 and T4 levels are in normal range. TSH at 8.01 is higher than normal (usually less than 4.5). High TSH with normal T3/T4 suggests subclinical hypothyroidism. You may not have symptoms but thyroid is underactive. Monitoring and follow up tests are advised.

View allHi, recently I got my thyroid test done and found that my TSH is 6.031, T4 is 1.16, and Anti TPO is 81.60. I feel tired and sleepy all day long and am not able to concentrate because of this. I am also finding a lot of difficulty in losing weight, even after dieting and working out in the gym for long hours. I have been taking 50 mg tablet of Thyronorm daily. Kindly advise what I should do. Is my report okay or is there something wrong? What should I do to feel energetic again?

I had a total thyroidectomy surgery due to papillary thyroid carcinoma. It has now been almost 9 years. My recent test results are thyroglobulin less than 0.040 ng/ml, TgAB less than 10 IU/ml, free T4 20.82 pmol/L, and TSH 3.60. Is my report okay? I am currently taking 125 mcg Thyronorm. Do I need to increase the dose? Is my TSH high currently?
