I had laparoscopic fundoplication surgery two months ago but still have trouble swallowing, gastric issues, and discomfort. How long does recovery usually take for these problems to go away and when can I get back to my normal routine?

It's understandable to be concerned about lingering issues after laparoscopic fundoplication. While complete recovery can take 2-3 months for most, some complications like swallowing difficulties, gastric issues, and discomfort can persist longer for some individuals. You should consult with your doctor to address your specific concerns

View allMy mom has multiple gallstones with the biggest one at 15mm but she's scared of surgery and doesn't want her gallbladder removed She also has high sugar levels at 272 before food and a 43cm cyst The doctor gave her four medicines Ulyses 300 Qtil 500 chymoral forte and cap happi d Should we go ahead with surgery or try homeopathy or ayurveda instead
Given the large gallstone (15mm), symptoms, and high blood sugar, a cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) is generally recommended for your mother. While homeopathy and Ayurveda can offer complementary therapies, they are not a replacement for conventional medical treatment.

I've been noticing my stomach has this pulsating sensation, especially when I'm sitting or sleeping upright. I've been dealing with IBS and gas, but the pulsating started around 8 months ago and it's got me a bit anxious. It even feels more intense when I start to think about it. It almost feels like a heartbeat. Should I be worried about this?
Pulsation of stomach is not related to IBS. Pulsation can be normally seen in thin build person where you will feel the pulsation at the exact time as the heart beat(there actually exist few microsecond difference but cannot appreciate) Different disease wherein we see the pulsation in stomach are Abdominal Aorta Aneurysm(AAA), vascular malformation, Thyroid disorders and many more for which you will need to do certain investigations.
