I had my period for only 2 days after a failed IUI, and then the bleeding stopped suddenly. Today is the 5th day, and I took a urine pregnancy test this morning, which came back negative. What could this mean?

After a failed IUI, a short period followed by stopped bleeding is common due to hormonal changes. A negative UPT on day 5 suggests you are not pregnant. If periods do not resume or you have severe pain, consult your doctor. For clarity, you can do a Serum Beta hCG blood test for confirmation as it is more sensitive than a urine test.

Since these kits may not detect low hCG levels, when should I visit a doctor to confirm if I am pregnant? I am 21 years old, unmarried, and usually have very regular periods.
