I had sebaceous cyst surgery on November 10th and got my stitches removed on the 19th, but the cut hasn't fully healed there's still a small gap. Now my doctor is recommending putting in two more stitches, one of them dissolvable. Is this the right move or should I be concerned about the healing process?

This condition may require clinical evaluation to determine the exact cause and treatment. Some cases can be managed conservatively, while others may need surgical intervention depending on size, symptoms, and severity. Regular follow-up is important to monitor progress.

View allHad inguinal hernia surgery 11 days ago and got my sutures removed yesterday is it safe to ride a self-start bike without kickstarting or should I wait longer
It’s best to avoid riding for at least 2–3 weeks post-hernia surgery to prevent strain and ensure proper healing.

My mom is 70 and has asthma but also gallstones. Is it safe for her to have surgery for the gallstones given her asthma condition? I'm really worried about the risks
It's understandable to be concerned about your mother's safety, especially with both asthma and gallstones. While asthma does increase the risk of complications during surgery, with proper planning and management, a cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) can be performed safely in elderly patients with asthma
