I had squint surgery in both eyes a year ago but still notice some residual squint sometimes I also have astigmatism and have worn glasses since childhood - my right eye has CYL 1 axis 10 and left eye CYL 2 axis 160 Can LASIK fix my astigmatism completely and would it help correct the remaining squint issues too I'm 26 and really want to properly address both problems

LASIK surgery can effectively address astigmatism, including your specific CYL 1 axis 10 and CYL 2 axis 160 values. However, LASIK does not correct squint, which is a misalignment of the eyes. Addressing residual squint after surgery will likely require further evaluation and potentially additional surgical adjustments.

View allMy left eye keeps drifting outward away from my nose could this be exotropia? What causes it and are there any non-surgical ways to fix it or stop it from getting worse? I'm really worried about this happening
Yes, an outward drifting of your left eye could be exotropia, a type of strabismus (eye misalignment) where one or both eyes turn outward. While the exact cause isn't always clear, it can be related to genetics, eye muscle weakness, or neurological conditions. Non-surgical treatments like vision therapy, patching, and glasses may help manage or even correct the condition, but surgery might be necessary in some cases. It's best to consult with an eye doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment options.

My current glasses prescription is 8 and it's been getting worse for the past 10-12 years. I'm worried about this steady decline would surgery be a good option for me? If so, what type of procedure would you recommend?
Myopia can continue worsening into the teens and even early adulthood. Once this excessive eye growth has commenced, myopia control treatment options can be prescribed to slow it down but the growth cannot be stopped or reversed Laser Eye Surgery for Myopia
