I have a 2 mm uterine fibroid and experiencing spotting between periods with irregular cycles. I'm trying to conceive are there any medications to treat fibroids without needing surgery?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Yes, there are medications that can help manage fibroid symptoms and even shrink fibroids, without surgery. Some options include GnRH agonists (like Lupron), which can temporarily shrink fibroids and stop bleeding. Other medications, like tranexamic acid or NSAIDs, can help control heavy bleeding. Additionally, hormonal birth control or a progestin-releasing IUD can help regulate periods and reduce heavy bleeding

I've been pregnant for 6 weeks now, and for the last 34 days, every time I eat, I end up vomiting. I've been taking the pregnidoxin medicine once a day, but it just doesn't seem to be working anymore. The vomiting starts just half an hour after eating. Could it be that I'm eating too much, or is there something else going on?
vomiting in pregnancy is normal

I'm 19 and not married. I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant and I'm wondering if I can have a surgical abortion without needing my parents' permission. Would a doctor be able to help me with this?
In India, the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) Act of 1971 allows for abortion up to 20 weeks, but for minors (below 18), parental consent is required; however, as you're 19, you can legally undergo a surgical abortion at 10 weeks without parental consent; consult a gynecologist
