I have a 31mm gall bladder calculus but my gallbladder wall thickness and CBD are normal. Is it possible to treat this without surgery? If I do get surgery, will the stones come back again?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Yes, it's possible to treat a 31mm gallbladder calculus without surgery, and the likelihood of stones returning after surgery varies. While surgical removal (cholecystectomy) is often the preferred treatment for symptomatic gallstones, non-surgical options like medication or percutaneous cholangioscopy may be considered. The risk of gallstones returning after surgery is low if the gallbladder is removed.

View allI'm feeling really tired and weak after I have a bowel movement, like my whole body is worn out and my knees hurt. It usually gets better once I eat something. Should I be worried about this, or is there something I'm missing in my diet or routine?
Your symptoms of weakness, hunger, fatigue, and knee joint pain after bowel movements could be related to various factors, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastrointestinal infection, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), or nutrient deficiencies; consider consulting a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation, and in the meantime, try to maintain a food diary to track your symptoms, eat smaller, frequent meals, and stay hydrated to help manage your symptom

I took rifastop 400 this morning, and now I'm dealing with a bit of acidity and keep burping. Is it okay if I take a rantac 150 before bedtime after taking rifastop 400 earlier today?
-Yes, you can take Rantac 150 before Rifastop 400 to help reduce acidity. Take it 30 minutes before your dose in the morning and again at bedtime if needed. Always drink plenty of water with Rifastop to minimize irritation.

I've got this small echogenic foci in my gallbladder that's 2.9mm and it's sticking to the anterior wall. My doctor suggested I take Nexpro RD40 capsules, and I've been on them for over 45 days. But every time I try stopping them, I get this burning feeling in my stomach. Any ideas on what I should do?
