I have a 7.3mm stone in the lower pole of my kidney will it pass on its own or do I need surgery? I've been feeling nauseous and having lower abdominal pain for the past 3 days could this be from the stone or something else?

Passing a Kidney Stone Stones that are larger than 7 mm rarely pass without a surgical procedure. There is usually no permanent damage if kidney stones are recognized and treated in a timely fashion.
