I have attached my brother blood test report. I noticed that his eosinophil count is slightly higher than normal. Could you please explain what this means, and whether he needs any treatment or precautions?

Mild eosinophilia can result from allergies, parasitic infections, or skin conditions. If asymptomatic, repeat test in 2 to 3 weeks. If recurrent cough, skin rashes, or stomach symptoms exist, consult a physician.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a ABSOLUTE EOSINOPHIL COUNT (AEC) Test or Take a STOOL EXAMINATION, PH & REDUCING SUBSTANCES Test

View allI recently did a complete health check up and as per my blood report, all tests are within the normal range except for eosinophil count, which is 11.6. Please advise if this is normal or if it requires any further tests or medication? Thanks, Vidya.

My blood report shows that I have eosinophilia, slightly higher than normal. I also have a cough (not dry), mainly in the morning and at night, especially in cold temperatures. What is the solution for this? Is it curable? Which doctor should I consult? Could there be any other underlying issue?
