I have been diabetic for the last 15 years. My last blood report shows fasting 109, after lunch 118, creatinine 1.14 mg and GFR 65.52 ml. I have second stage mild kidney loss and weigh 77 kg. Sometimes I have burning sensation during urination. Can you recommend any medicine for my kidney?

The sugar control looks fairly stable. Mild kidney function reduction Stage 2 CKD can be managed by controlling blood pressure, avoiding excess painkillers, and drinking enough water. Urine burning may be from mild infection or concentrated urine.

View allI have been experiencing lower back pain since Monday which has become progressively worse. I have also been drinking excessive amounts of water about one pint every one and a half hours or less. I have a lack of appetite and feel full most of the time. I visited my GP and they checked my urine and blood pressure which were normal. I am going for blood tests on Monday and will wait for the results. Do you know what could be causing these symptoms? Thank you Jack.
